Dear colleagues,
Ecole Polytechnique Road Safety Team is pleased to invite you to participate in the Canadian Multidisciplinary Conference XVII that will be held in Montreal June 3-6, 2007.
As in previous years the conference objective is to bring together all stakeholders in road and vehicle safety in order to facilitate exchange between disciplines and to promote means that will help improve Canada's road safety record. This is the pre-eminent traffic safety conference in Canada that attracts researchers and practitioners from across the country and, indeed, from around the world.
Eighty distinct ethnic cultures are represented in Montreal population of 3.7 million, ample proof of its right to the moniker 'international' city. A world leader in such industries as aeronautics, information technology, the city has also made significant innovations in medicine, multimedia and the arts.
The conference hotel is located downtown Montreal in the heart of the Chinatown. Fans will be happy to learn that the conference will be held during the week before the Canada Grand Prix.
We extend to each of you a warm invitation to participate in the conference and we look forward to welcoming you.
